Mark Pope Twitter

This isnt critcism.

It's us fans being ******** and blaming young men for the failures of their superiors.

We sbould have been giving younger guys more snaps weeks ago. Pope and Wiggins shortcomings have been known, yet we continually sacrifice them to the football gods. Smart coaches know when enoughs enough and bench guys to not destroy them.

We don't do that nearly enough.

You know this isn't exclusive? They both failed. Being a WR means you need to catch the ball. Coaches aren't going to go out there and catch it for you.

And yes, this was a problem through the season and younger player should have gotten more playing time

Conference leaders in drops. How about some humility kid? This is what happens when you are cuddle since anklebiter youth ball. I normally don't comment on kids but this one irks the **** out of me.
Hey! You don't know what he's been through! (Kidding) I can't believe he actually tweeted that. What a ******* *****.

...see a lot of internet tough guys here calling these young men names. Funny, you would not stand a chance against any of these players if you confronted them on the street or field. But the internet gives you wings, like Red Bull.

Do you think they go out of their way to drop the ball? They don't. They are trying hard, and some are not up to par. But that has to do with our lack of depth at WR and chronic instability at the HC ranks for over 15 years.

if him or anyone can’t handle the criticism, then they need to turn their accounts off, because no one is going to stop the critics from voicing their opinions. Anyone who wants to be a professional athlete better not co plain about fans being critical. Otherwise, go sell insurance
There's a difference between criticism and bashing. People tend to tune out to bashing and often use it to justify ignoring legitimate criticism. I'd like to see him step up like Harley did.

Pretty sure I'd smash Pope and Wiggins with ease lol.

That's fine. Agreed. But people here are calling them names, and insulting even their families. It's pathetic, and speaks of the Baja clase y chusma that they are.
This is Power 5 college football, brother.

If you can't handle it, idk what to tell you. College football fans are ruthless.

He's getting bad advice from Cooney or whoever, try being responsible, you messed up multiple times including when the game was on the line, you are not a big time player and actually belong in Division III football.
this right here. He has adults who have been in his life telling him it's not his fault. I don't think it's a skill thing with Pope; I really think it's a mental thing . Focus, fear of failure, stuff like that. The harder he presses, the worse it gets.

Tweets like this don't help him:

you guys screaming for the jugs machine crack me up, that jug machine ain't gonna fix the fact they're pure **** and scared of the moment

thankfully they're sucking off cooney and get to play at miami due to sheer politics, clown world clown wide receivers clown program.
