Mark Pope Twitter

They love the attention on social media in those rare moments they're showing out. Love the follows and the fame. Then the second the criticism gets real it's "you don't know me" and "fvck everyone else" type BS. Loser mentality.

I'm not on Twitter, FB, or Instagram, and I don't condone anyone going personally going after these young men on Twitter (no matter how ****ty their performance). But if junior doesn't like that sort of heat I suggest he put the ******* phone down, walk his scrawny a$$ over our fancy indoor practice facility, load up the jugs machine, and work at honing his god d@mn craft. Shut people up by exceeding their expectations of you.

But nah, that would take a lot more work and it's a lot easier to just clap back at people on social media and avoiding any meaningful self reflection.

twitter used to only be sports and fun but it has turned in the last year. We are looking at moving to the Tampa area and the beach and disconnecting from it all haha

What offense you Play in has zero to do with catching the ball when it hits you in the hands or numbers.....
 
Turning yourself in to a victim when you fooked up royally and let your entire team downis the absolute sign of how weak you are.

Cody Parley did this, only recent one I can remember, when he missed that FG vs the Eagles.

He got kicked off the team.

I don't really blame him for responding. I mean he'll just get even more **** but I get he's frustrated. Wiggins and Pope obviously suck at football but it's not their fault they play so much. All this anger needs to be directed at Lashlee, Likens, and Manny who are doing a horrible job playing the right players.

Then they can handle a little criticism....get over it. Especially when these ADULTS bask in their social media hype and praise. if You think you’re only going to hear people talk about how good you are on Twitter, you’re an idiot

Agree my friend. The locker room and culture is sò toxic and @ss backwards and it’s all mannys doing. This is the culture/bed he made and now he has to lay in it. And now without king to save his sorry corching @ss were looking at a 4-8 to 5-7 season next year. The only bright spot is the bum will be gone along with the bum that hired him in all of about 5 minutes at the cost of 4 million dollars. 🤢🤮
 
Last comment on my end on this, then I will enjoy New Years Eve...

When I was 18 years old, I joined the mens team of my home soccer club (yes i know soccer just hear me out). My father told me "Shut your mouth, work hard in practice and results will come". I didnt shut my mouth and I didnt work hard enough. Wasnt very well liked within the team, and I quit the sport that I loved at 20 because I wasnt part of the team and I blamed everyone except me.

It took me 1 year to understand the lesson that I was taught. Pope has not understood ****. Hard work pays off. And if hard work doesnt pay off, work harder. But ****, if things dont go well, dont blame others for your failings and dont go at others when they criticize you. Shut up, get back on the practice field, work hard and shut them up.

if him or anyone can’t handle the criticism, then they need to turn their accounts off, because no one is going to stop the critics from voicing their opinions. Anyone who wants to be a professional athlete better not co plain about fans being critical. Otherwise, go sell insurance

This isnt critcism.

It's us fans being ******** and blaming young men for the failures of their superiors.

We sbould have been giving younger guys more snaps weeks ago. Pope and Wiggins shortcomings have been known, yet we continually sacrifice them to the football gods. Smart coaches know when enoughs enough and bench guys to not destroy them.

We don't do that nearly enough.
