I am confident that Pope is correct about how hard he works and the sacrifices he is making. Fact is that he does more to contribute to UM football than any of us.
HOWEVER, he made a choice to play football. He made a choice to be publicly judged by his successes and failures.
The fact is that Pope just isn’t good enough to play wide receiver for UM. I don’t blame Pope for his failues. I blame the coaches for their recruiting and lack of development. Mark Pope is what he is. A hard working guy who isn’t a very good receiver.
