we keep using the term “kids” but plenty of young men out there with way more on the line and a lot more pressure than just catching a pass on TV. You Fck up in Afghanistan one of your friends may die. A lot more pressure than some Twitter post hurting your ifeelings.

Exactly... these guys go on Twitter looking for someone to say it’s alright, it’s not your fault, your doing the best you can. That confirmation makes them then more complacent because some people have sided with their excuse making. When they hop on Twitter and see criticism they act out because their not use to having someone telling them get your **** together. It takes accountability to say “I need to be better”. See Brevin’s tweet.

This has nothing to do with if anyone played. Is this a serious question? This is about owning a failure in something he’s been working at his entire life and making no excuses. Put your head down and get back to work to make sure this failure doesn’t happen again. True character shows when adversity hits. What’s Pope’s character?

I guarantee you that most military men and women appreciate the term but don’t like being called heroes.
Have you been there in Iraq or Afghanistan? Have you been to east or Northern Africa?

Please, please tell me that you made your comment from a first hand combat experience.
If you did then we can agree to disagree.

Please tell me it isn’t some repeated ignorant info from some biase news or government source. Cause if you did I’m not mad at you.
I actually feel bad for you and the people around you.
I guarantee you that every general on down to a private cares more about civilian deaths than the governments and military of Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, or any other terror filled country.
They only care about civilians when we kill them on accident.
More people have been executed, tortured to death, raped, women stoned to death, women sprayed with acid in their face, from their own government and people than anything we’ve done in 20 years.
To quote my friend who did 3 tours: “we care more about the civilians than anyone in this country’s government yet we get more sht for it”
