For those of you that wondered why I defended Mark Pope so much last year, this is why.

He's a really good kid that just got frustrated with how things turned out last season.

Doubt him all you want but don't be surprised when he looks completely different in a real offense with an accurate QB throwing him the ball.

Noodles is going to excel big time this season, bet on that.

El I can't root for that kid like that. I know I know but the coach in me can't..he was doing some turn coat stuff last year. I get he was emotional but how and where I was raised that is an automatic cut card. Beef we me cool but then start flirting w the enemy...Man no code

I do not have a dog in this fight (that's a lie, I'm on Team @reg), but since you brought up concerns regarding English language skills: (1) your pluralization of the word punctuation is incorrect; (2) your use of an en-dash (or even an em-dash, if that was your intention) is likewise incorrect (you should have simply used a comma to complete the conditional sentence); and (3) there is a typographical error in the sentence that precedes the sentence in bold.

@westcoastcanes also pointed out the errors in a separate post from that guy. The guy is starving for attention, much like my 2 year old. I wasn't going to point it out, but ****, I am glad you decided to do so.

I wasn't gonna correct it but I noticed 2 of the 3 only so you did me one better. Besides buddy already got me a lil agitated by his comment. Figured for everyone's sake I'll let that slide. Also @Liberty City El know mark pretty well. I'm not gonna slander a kids name. I wish him nothing but the best not only as a cane but also in life. But some of the stuff he was pulling last year not only on social media but in his day to day is simply unacceptable. Hes a better kid than that and from what I know he was raised better than that. But he was on some real sucka **** last hear. Him and his little hoe made wannabe mentor. I'm not gonna elaborate any more on this (any critics can feel free to bytch and moan about that) but unless theres stuff you flat out know for fact yourself brother you gotta make a kid prove himself before you cosign people who show another side to that coin. You know we good bruh. Just sayin.

I've always been in small teams - always outnumbered. By scores and scores. A hundred of us in 5-man teams tied up two entire divisions full time looking for us.

That's efficiency. Kill ratio 150:1. That's efficiency.

Not an inferior position - we dictated everything thousands did. And rendered them inert.

That mark pope social media stuff rubbed me da wrong way. I can't respect that no matter what's going on. Never had a teammate pull something like that.

That wouldve been in our locker room woulda gone REAL bad for him. Unfortunately in the recent past we've lacked real leaders. Honestly this whole social media stuff is the devil. As much progress as society has made, we really would be far better off if certain things we just took a reset on.

3.6 GPA but was accused of not knowing the plays in 2018. Also accused of not being strong enough despite being 20 years old last season. Who was the POS on the previous staff putting this stuff out there?

What two WRs names are brought up when people talk about who could potentially have a breakout year?

It's not a shot. I don't know if his people post here and it doesn't matter bc I didn't attack his character or ability to play nor use any insults. Simply stated my opinion.

If anyone's people is on here they should know what this is, a discussion based forum. In a discussion opinions will be stated. A lot worse is said about Robert Knowles and our oline. How do u know their people aren't on here?

Your opinion wasn’t warranted on BH bc no one before you even mentioned him...this was a thread about Pope. You choose to mention him for the reason you stated above & it doesn’t fly...the people didn’t mention BH..you did.

His people on this board uses the screen name brooklyndee...everyone knows that. I haven’t seen him post in forever but everyone knows that.

You don’t see the difference between knowles & BH?

Never did I say the people who posted before me mentioned Hightower. I said when people talk about the names that have potential to have a breakout season they say two names, Pope and Hightower.

I didn't know his people were on here but it wouldn't change anything if I did. I stated my opinion. As I said before, I didn't insult anyone or attack their character.

In your logic no opinions about players should ever be said on here bc said players family could be a CIS user and whether u know it or not doesn't matter. Hightower himself is on Twitter so does that mean fans can't tweet their opinion on there too? What about the media, should they not tweet how Hightower looked in the few minutes they saw him in practice?
