Mark Pope Contemplating A Transfer To UF.....

Pope was a one trick pony in HS. Y’all making a mountain out of a mole hill. It’s starts with proper evaluation.

I’d take a kid like Osborn over pope every time.

He’s short and frail. Average hands. Mediocre route runner, mediocre blocker.
To top it all off he couldn’t get the playbook down year1

Dugans really recruited some soft *** motha ****as in the WR room.

I was wrong and I'm not afraid to admit it rather than stay anchored to a failed evaluation. He has some athletic talent still but I've seen enough to know he will never get it between the ears. There's a level of precision and toughness that you need to play WR nowadays and he doesn't have it.

I'm with you too I thought for sure watching the camp videos he would be good. When the bullets are live he's missing in action. And this is under two coaching staffs.
 
After the announcement of Rhett Lashlee...it made me care even less than Mark Pope. He'd be no less than WR3 or Pass Catcher4 in this offense. Anyone could do that.

Agreed. If he has any ******* knowing the news of the day and isn’t willing to put in the hard work to see the field consistently as WR#1 then don’t let the door hit you in the ****. I’d rather he stay and work it out as I still think he can turn this around. But running for the portal to sit a year isn’t going to suddenly make him NFL material. He still needs to put in the work.

These suckers couldn’t even start, never mind make an impact on a 6-7 bottom of the barrel ACC team, but now they think they are all world and are going to light it on fire. I’m convinced these players all on heavy drugs or they are spending too much time on instagram. You can’t start over Cam, Burns, Osborn, or Harley, guess what.. You just aren’t that good and just don’t have the skill. Point blank!, I guarantee neither
Lingtd or Pope will amount to any remotely close to being a football player.
 
Let him and Lingard go to Florida. They both saw that they were going to be fourth string at their positions. They are both scared of competition and will flame out at Florida.

I was wrong on Mark Pope , I thought he would be better than he showed. I knew Lingard was overrated tho

Reckless speculation but multiple people ate posting they're hearing the same. Some are even saying he's been thinking about transferring for over a year.

This is canesinsight, a lot of people regurgitate the same bullsh*t and throw sh*t against the wall to see if it sticks. Now we got people doing the same with an old rumor just because Lingard transferred to uf

word was he would've left if UF wanted him. not sure how true it is, but thats what i heard from sauces
 
I’ve never been impressed w Pope. I think he plays like a girl, and has the mentality to match. Redding and Payton blow him away in terms of work ethic, smarts and in being a football player. Ever wonder how we sent that 7 on 7 team w Pope wigs, lingers etc. and they got eliminated fast...only won one game. I thought that was a red flag then, but now I see why.
 
Has this actually been confirmed or is it just rumor/speculation? I feel like we are too quick to jump on these kids before things are actually fact. If he’s still on the roster, I’ll support him. If he leaves, well he deserves what’s been written.
