After reading an article about how schiano has changed and has spent time learning from other coaches I dont think he would be a disastrous hire. I would much rather have Butch, Ricth, or Mullen but I dont think Schiano would be terrible. But hey what i do know? And what do any of us know really?

I don't know. Everything I've read today was he was behind Richt. If he'd be willing to leave for less money I'd take him.

Schiano will be our head coach. Neg me all you want, but if or rather when Richt declines our offer, B. James will give the job to Schiano, not Butch. Firing Golden to hire another Golden. Quit complaining about Richt because it's either him or Schiano imo.

Another person who knows nothing about Schiano. Anyone saying hes just like Al Golden is clueless. Other than being white guys with Northeast ties couldnt be more different.

It is just uninformed and stupid to compare Schiano to AG. He is not my top choice, but he would be a great choice. He is the exact opposite of all the things that made Coker (soft and passive), Shannon (stupid and lazy), and AG (awful D and cultural fit) suck.

Maybe he's willing to take a little less money to get out of Starkville. Also, Mississippi has a state income tax, Florida does not, so it would probably equal out in the end.
