Ultimately I'd say as long as we land one of Mathews or Olu, I'm not gonna be too disappointed. But all else equal you do pay off say a decent amount more to win the Mathews recruitmsnt than you'd be willing to spend on Olu.
Ultimately we will likely have McCoy and Samson coming off the books. Congdon and Buchanan could have two OG spots locked up next yr (also call me crazy but Buchanan should get snaps at Center too tbh). There really shouldn't be CRAZY expenses on the OLine after them tbh. And like SJ maybe our next highest rated recruit and imo he can only actually contribute if he plays center which he's still not doing... That seems like an expense that can be saved to me.
So signing a 5star OT next yr absolutely makes sense. If it's Mathews and he's making A lot you expect him to start day 1. If Olu, I wonder if it'd be more of a Samson situation where he's not ready asap
