When I went to College Station in December, I couldn’t help think on several occasions why any kid would want to live in that wasteland….Shemar came to mind a few times. Then again I drove in from Austin and got a real feel how middle of nowhere it is opposed to just flying directly into campus.

I have driven across Texas to many times and always wondered what the **** do these people do for a living. Like being in a Star Wars movie on the run. Seems like the whole state is mostly like that.

My son and his wife were there for a year(she had a research contract with the Army at A & M). They enjoyed their time there. We visited one time for a week and enjoyed it as well. We all grew up in smaller towns. I'd assume so.e kids who come from the same sort of background would also find it nice.
