2027 Mark Matthews 5* OL from STA Commits to TAMU

Some kids really aren’t built for Miami like mario has been saying.

I can’t imagine saying no to a program offering me hundreds of thousands of dollars, that’s in my hometown, focal point of the program is the trenches, and the head coach has a decade long proven track record of taking people like me and developing them in to first rounders with the most recent example drafted less than a week ago.

To go to Texas A&M of all places is crazy to me unless there’s some family connection I’m missing.

Its perfectly fine to be disappointed. Especially when they lie in other threads of recruits we lost and say funds are being allocated to what we value most and when you say hey how about if we miss there also they say wont happen.. Nasty work..
 
I am not in the know but if I had to guess why he may not want to come to Miami. 1. A&M is throwing cash$$. 2. He saw #79 practice and thought I don’t want to sit for 2 years potentially bc that dude is the real deal

1. You have to pay, maybe even over pay for good players.
2. They don't play the same position.
 
General observation— this site has Charlie Brown kicking the football complex. We are hyped into believing we’re going to be the #1 class every ******* year and we fall for it every ******* year.

Specific impression of this recruit— Let Mario cook. The fat lady hasn’t sung yet to paraphrase Yogi Berra.

Id the kids wants to go take the money and not develop or win **** at a&m thats on him. You're either on board this ship or we gone without ya. An elite olineman would have to be ******* retarded to not wanna get developed by this staff but if they don't wanna then good luck to ya and we'll see ya when we kick your ***

fckkk these HS kids…especially SoFLA who rarely show loyalty the way kids in other states do. Move 80% of HS budget to the portal also. if we gotta pay 7 figures to HS kids, id rather pay grown men with 2-3 years of a body of work and S&C training
