2027 Mark Matthews 5* OL from STA Commits to TAMU

Not to brag but our guy Cici was the first one taken of the the highest rated tackles that year. Freeling was there along with Okunlola and Proctor. We picked the right one to focus on the most and he went the highest. Hopefully Samson kicks it up a bit now.

Someone send this to Matthew’s

What Mario and Alex did with Markell Bell this past season is actually the most impressive of it to me. Francis was a great talent and they obviously did a lot to make him reach his potential but bell just wasn’t that good when they got him and over two seasons they totally made him serviceable in a critical spot.

Most likely the 3yr part is the wrong one.

$9M/4yrs is not unreasonable imo.

Yr 1 - $1M
Yr 2 - $2M
Yr3 - $3M
Yr 4 -$3M+

If it’s higher end it’s probably like
Yr 1 - $1.5M
Yr 2 - $2.5M
Yr 3 - $3.5M
Yr 4 - $4M

That’d be $11.5M/4yrs =2.875M/yr. Which is right there at the $3m/yr number….

It’s in the first segment. Simmons saying Matthews is going to take all four official visits and then decide middle summer.

Agreed. He improved dramatically during his time with us.

Mario and Mirabal have been so successful coaching up the OL, with spectacular results in the post-season as proof-of-concept, that many teams will try to emulate Mario's emphasis on linemen when it comes to portal and NIL. Specifically, building from the inside-out, and less on "splash" acquisitions.

That just shows how out of touch and out of the loop he is with this recruitment
On3 has gotten very click bait. Even more than usual. Wiltfongs tweets and articles remind me of the stuff that comes out when the conglomerate main stream media runs the same story with the same lines. You could line up wiltfongs tweets and they all say the same thing about every different program.

I don’t find the athletic to be clickbait at all; however, this recent conversation (linked below) made me think of on3’s YouTube videos + articles. I’d bet on3’s reporters are incentivized to get subs the same way, possibly even more extremely.

247 still has a leg up on them imo. On3 is flooding the zone to try to get their subscribers up.

Wiltfong saying that miami was in mcfarland’s top 3 is pretty embarrassing as well as this:

With the repetitive nature of a lot of the articles and the way they worded I’m wondering how much of it is just AI slop. That they just plug a name in and then tell it to write whatever.
