Alright people as much as I have laughed out loud at many of the memes, we probably should get back to discussing MM the football player.

I mean, I think the issue goes way beyond his orientation. I doubt they are, but if Francis Mauigoa or Jackson Cantwell happen to be part of the rainbow coalition, it is not a distraction. Because those guys are not distracting. If it turns out that Jalen Rivers is openly that way like rumored, awesome, he kept it focused on the game and worked hard. Even more so with Julio Jones. Rivers became a pro, I cant remember a single headache from Rivers. This dude Big Zesty is going to get a lot of attention for a freshman OL based on how he handled his process. I dont need a diva in the trenches. Really very minimally related to his orientation. Is what it is. If Big Zesty comes here, he already has 2 and a half strikes in my book.

Cantwell hasn’t been a first year plug and play, but I don’t question he’ll be a **** good starter here by the time he leaves as well as being a very good draft selection. There are only a few of these monster body types that exist, you get the pieces and figure it out. The same thing is true with Matthews

Matthews will be far more similar to a Cici type day 1 guy. Compare the level of HS competition

Cici and Matthews played HS at highest level
JC and Pancake played HS at a much lower competitive level and had to dominate at camps

They both were solid here...with Jalen being a beast after development and now a nfl guy...chantz was a solid college kid that finished out at charlotte and we heard nothing of malcontent or poor behavior.

This is true, but frankly I don’t even care if you play day 1. If you’re gonna be a **** good starter at any point for us it’s worth it. Pancake is an example, he took time, but I can’t imagine our OL without him. You gotta have these studs if you wanna win a natty.
