2027 Mark Matthews 4* OL from STA

If Bell is gone

LT Portal or Oku
G McCoy
C Portal or R-Rod
G Oku or Kinsler
RT Cantwell or Oku

Basically what I'm saying is we bring in one portal starter but only one…And it could be any of the positions based on if Rich Rod is starter material for one year if Oku stays at guard or kicks out. McCoy is pretty **** average but I assume he starts his senior year. I would make Cantwell a favorite to start but I don't think it's a lock.

Others who could factor in… Buchanon, SJ, Ervin, (unless Francovilla is a factor in year 3, but no news probably means that backup life there?)

McCoy could probably slide to LT before Samson does. I think Samson's home is guard from what has been said on the pod, and coaches are/were bullish on McCoy at tackle. Otherwise agreed!

You stacks chips. Go get the best talent you can find in the portal.

Possibility, I don't think it's a lock by any means

Not for a HC/OLC with a penchant for developing O-lineman. Maybe Buchanon gets in the lineup early, maybe Kinsler can be a good RT, maybe Minaya continues to develop inside… Or I can also see them doing the way you mentioned. They know more about where these guys are at than we do.

This is the type of player Mario was brought in to land. I mean if you can’t land a 5 star offensive linemen at a power house south Florida school off back to back 10 win seasons what would we even be doing lol Mario SHOULD have his pick of any offensive linemen worth recruiting in south Florida. Hes an elite recruiter so he should be expected to land a lot of 5 stars from south Florida regardless of position

RT - Cantwell or Samson/Kinsler/McCoy

Mathews could come in as a Freshman and fight for starting LT in 2027
