He also used to be an anchor of "Sportstown" on the local channel WAMI-TV in the 90s. I didn't have cable so that was my Sportscenter as a kid. It came on channel 69 (nice).

Mark Jones started at TSN and did a sporsdesk show with Paul Romaniuk. They were hilarious in the fact that they always made mistakes during the highlight. My brothers and i always watched for. that. He is a great play by play guy now and has really worked on his craft. I enjoy how he calls the game. Paul Romaniuk is calling hockey games now for TSN. I need to find some shows that they did together back in the day.

WAMI had some good shows (and some hilariously bad shows, but they were fun train wrecks to watch). I remember they had "The Magic Hour" Magic Johnson's late night talk show with Sheila E as his band leader. The Times show with a few people who are national now. Sportstown with Mark Jones and another guy if I'm not mistaken.The Tosh.0 guy was on a show. They did all their stuff locally around south florida. I think their news shows were live from Lincoln Drive or sumthin. They had the whole Fox Kids lineup with the comic superhero shows and other cartoons. WAMI was dope for like a good 3-4 years. Then I think it became Spanish language and has been ever since.
