Nobody can predict whether Richt or Butch would win more games. I was all in for Butch, but Richt actually ticks off more boxes, and while he was at Georgia, he was always the top coach with UM roots we couldn't get. That he fell to us at a moment when those who write the checks were willing to write one big enough is good enough luck to break a long run of bad. If it doesn't work out, we can fly some banners down the line, but today, I don't see how we could have done better. And, it apparently saved the program from Schiano.

Richt had potential to win a ship coaching at Georgia for 15 dam years with SEC resources and didnt get it done. Most of the other coaches are either up and coming or coached at places where that wasn't possible.

And for what its worth, Butch's "team" won a ship (and shoulda won 1 his last year coaching and another one vs Ohio St).

Butch's last season alone is more than Richt has ever accomplished. So gtfoh with that bs
 
Frankly you have no clue. All you have to do is look at the record. No, he hasn't won an SEC in 10 years BUT he averaged 10 wins per year, ran an honest clean program and will do the same at Miami. The difference is that in the division you play in that will be enough to get to the ACCCG. Win that and you are in the playoff. Richt will do that faster than Smart does it at UGA.

HE WAS THE FIRST CHOICE OF 6 OF THE OPENINGS! Notice the instant he took the Miami job that MD hired the next one in line? Just see how they fall fast now. VA wanted him BAD. MO wanted him, heck they tried to hire him the last time before Pinkel. He's only been on the market 3 days and yet he had 4 interviews. Get real.
 
If you don't like richt get the **** out of here. I don't want to hear from any bottom feeders living under the palmetto.
