Dude, the play calling sucks. But please go back and watch the game. There were open holes on a handful of crucial plays that he flat out missed. I can walk and chew gum at the same time.

They started run blitzing in the 2nd half and we did nothing to change things up. Nothing. I’m done w Dawson. He lost his shine.

To me Allen is the best back. He has vision and is quick to hit the hole. None of our backs have break away speed. Of course, Allen makes the play of the year and gets hurt on same play. And we have not seen him since.

Fletcher was not recognizing open holes on several runs. He wants to immediately run defenders over instead of being a bit more patient and recognize the openings.

In my opinion, it was his weakest outing of the season.

Missed todays game. I liked Fletcher. But didn’t see a lot of burst early on. Felt like his power along with our line dominating weaker competition was a bit of a curse.

Parrish and Chaney are our 2 best backs imo with Fletcher not being far behind. Allen does not block and while he is fast. I think he has the worst vision and lacks the ability to fight for yards. All of our RBs would look a lot better if we could pass the ball down the field with some regularity

I wish we would work CJJ into the rotation. Our other backs are solid, but none are explosive. Given our struggles at QB, we need to somehow generate explosive plays in the run game. Give CJJ a shot.

Straight-ahead runner without top speed.

And maybe it’s just me thinking this, but he seems to get tripped up quite often.

Noticed this too. His top end speed is actually pretty good, but it doesn't really matter because he doesn't have the quick feet/short-area quickness, acceleration, or vision to hit big runs.

I'm asking the same thing. He was clearly the best back through the first 5 games.

We don't hate Fletcher, he's just a JAG. Ajay Allen is better, Parrish is way better, Chaney is on par and nothing special either. Citizen? Who knows.

kid had 100+ yard game last week and a decent game against a top defense. Some people here need to chill out with our freshman! Most of the top recruits who were watching the game were not turned away by the performance of the team

He needs to develop some patience, which can be done. He doesn’t need to be Leveon Bell, just let the game slowdown so he can see the cutback versus always turning up into the fray.
