It’s also okay to say that he has gotten much better. The sign of a good player and a good program is improvement
Well one the main ones (who I very much respect his opinion BTW) hasn't been posting much if at all during this playoff run. I think that's disappointing..

I think I know who you're referring to and I agree he is one of the smartest posters on the Internet. I enjoy reading his work. But no one is perfect and I think it's ok to admit when one is wrong.
I know I have been wrong on many occasions.
These are 18-22 year old kids and they do develop over time if they work hard, stay healthy and get good coaching.
Speaking of coaching, it's time to give Mario and his staff kudos and put the "coaching and caveman ball...Columbus bro schtick" to rest as well.

This was a highly recruited kid who was originally committed to ohio state.

He's having an excellent CFP. By far the best he's every played and it's not close at all. Particularly once he gets past the 5yard marker.

i feel kinda bad he won't be able to replicate these playoffs next season and him coming back is ultimately going to hurt his draft stock.

We let teams hang around and there’s no resolution to that thus far.
I love Mario not complaining but it’s pervasive at this point,
Perhaps with one more year of depth building that will end too

Every single one of these arguments are apples to oranges. You can’t play like this and win all season in the ACC. Ville and SMU proved that to us. Fletcher has always been a good back, but we needed Pringle to win the games down the stretch. It’s not a slight to say Fletcher isn’t our best option at noon on a random Saturday against SMU or Pitt.
But now that every snap matters and it’s big boy football, Fletcher is the guy. This is the **** he’s built for.
