Mark Fletcher Junior SZN

I really liked his ability out of the backfield as a receiver, too. He was great in space and caught most of his targets

Everyone talks about Toney being a heisman contender next year, but fletcher should be right there too
Mark Fletcher is not a serious Heisman contender. It's not due to lack of skill either.

Ashton Jeanty was 28 yards from breaking Barry Sanders all-time single season rushing yard total. He rushed for 2601 yards at 7 ypa with 29 rushing TDs and didn't win the Heisman.

I just don't see another RB winning it anytime soon.

Imagine a RB breaking out his true junior season, in a college football landscape of 22-24 year old men. I’m being facetious of course, but all this young brother needed was some time for his body to catch up to his skill level. Some positions will allow for freshmen stars because they are a little less physical; see wide receiver. But RB is a physical grind and a 20-21 year old power back is just much better suited to play the postion than a 18-19 year old.

Of course Cici and Bain made my entire post irrelevant, but they are generational talents IMO. Outliers are not good rule makers.
