Mark Fletcher Incident

normally I'd say you gotta control yourself and walk away. But, I also know there are times when serving a punch in the mouth is warranted. We've all been watching MF for a few years now and he aint no Horton or whatever. I don't know if I've even seen him in a shoving match. If he's throwing a punch, other dude was probably asking for it. I'm not a ref so I don't need to go by what the cameras caught. I'm gonna ride with Fletcher, idgaf about the media or the narrative riddled minds on reddit.

Must be a BigX thing. I've seen and heard the same thing re: Ohio Taint and Pedo St fans.

Anyway, not a good look for Mark. I love him as a person and player but if the guy took cheap shots or said awful sh*t then talk about it post game and tell him GF Himself if he comes up to you. Can't just start swinging.
I've thought it over and if in fact the guy said something about Mark's dad, yea f*ck that guy. Can't blame Mark for swinging on him.

I just don't care. People always call us dirty, thugs, trash, etc. Just drop your N bomb like a man and move on.. but they don't. They dress it up with lipstick and a bow. Ironically plenty of them are good people. Not overly racist. Just that tinge that comes out with sports. We all have it. Somewhere deep. But Miami brings it out in droves. I love it. Embrace the hate.

Whatever Fletcher's reason, I stand behind him. I'll put his character up against any of there's.
Yeah, there’s literally nothing the team or fans can do. Funny I’ve never heard a player from another team called a thug.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, he still took the bait & pulled a LeGarrette Blount. Will have an impact on his pocket at some point
F that. I’m probably the most peaceful person you’ll ever meet…until you disparage or mess with my family. There is no limit I wouldn’t go to when it comes to protecting or defending them, and I would hope everyone would do the same. I just lost my father last year so I can totally relate to how Mark felt in that moment. If someone made a comment like that to me it’s on like Donkey Kong.

Yeah having an emotional response to your Dad dying is pretty normal. You cant punch a guy on national TV when you’re trying to make it to the NFL though and expect it not to come back to haunt you at some point in some capacity. This is still the real world not some movie

If it does come up next year when he’s interviewing with teams for the draft, just be 100% honest and tell them exactly what happened. That’s the best thing he can do.

Anez Cooper is the biggest ****talker on the team by quite the margin and even he pulled Fletcher during the game to stop him from fighting.

Fletcher was completely out of it. Nicest kid on the roster, never did a foot wrong, even crediting defenders for tackling suddenly starts swinging for another man?

That's the issue with society nowadays. People look at the result instead of what happened that made someone swing. If someone insulted my family, god forbid, it's a free-for-all.

This is where I am gonna call bull****.

Mark Fletcher and his family have been nothing but kind and open. A friend of mine was just part of a team that interviewed Mark's mother a couple of weeks ago. Sports (generally) and football (specifically) look for feel-good stories. If people like the Fletchers open themselves up and make themselves vulnerable, that should not be an open invitation to a handful of bullying ******** to mock that.

Mark Fletcher is not going to be "haunted" by this. He'll have a full year before he even has to meet with NFL personnel guys, and I strongly suspect he won't have another one of these situations arise.

With truthful responses, the only person who should be "haunted" by this is Tyrique Tucker. It's already getting out into the football community that he pulls this kind of cheap bull**** on the regular. ****, we are even starting to seen penalties and fines reversed when video establishes that the guy who fought back was being cursed or spat on or worse.

**** TYRIQUE TUCKER. Straight to ****.

Andre Johnson beat up Courtland Finnegan on national TV. Myles Garrett attempted to smash Mason Rudolphs head in with a helmet. Brian Cushing headbutted a player without a helmet on. Odell Beckham headbutted Josh Norman with a 20 yard runup. Aqib Talib had multiple fights with Steve Smith and Michael Crabtree. Bill Romanowski broke a mans eye socket and ended his career in practice because he was held and made the team afterwards.

In other words: Shut the **** up. None of these players had it coming for them their incidents happened. That's just dumb BS.

The first example is the best one. Courtland Finnegan and Tyrique Tucker are cut from the same low-class cloth. Eventually, people realized it's just their pattern behavior.

Isn't he sitting out his FSU podcasts until FSU are good again?

There's a word for that.

I frequent some of the FSU podcasts just for fun and these bums are using that as an excuse…there numbers are down across the board. FSU fans aren’t interested in listening to podcasts that follow a dead program. That’s the truth of the matter. A couple are trying to hang on but for the most part..a dead program isn’t good for business. Hence bums like Bud just throwing in the towel and not wasting the time.

…and then this clown Tucker tried to say, “I don’t know what happened I tried to shake his hand and he swung at me.” Yea, sure, okay buddy. Take a look at the shape inside of a donut and that’s how many of us believe that B.S. story. It’s especially laughable to anyone who’s spent any time with Mark and know how nice/positive he is when it comes to his demeanor.
