Dude, I was just about to make a thread dedicated to this guy. He's playing without a top notch college qb ,at one of the toughest environments in college football and physically whipping them in the trenches.

I have mad respect for the guy.

Was begging for this guy during the PSU scandal. Begging. Effing love him he's one of the best in the business. But we have clowns suggesting Strong.

That man just made such a small decision that few people will notice. On second down he ran right to get the ball to the right hash. He knew his kicker was better suited there. The kick went in but it would have not made it if it had been from the middle. Coaching matters. Knowing your personnel is crucial. This man is phenomenal.

Dantonio is a great coach, but he loves it in East Lansing. He's not going to USCe or anywhere else.

Agreed. They are gonna be in the playoffs this year. He has zero reason to leave.

I love Butch, but cot ****, if we could get Dantonio then sign me up. His recruiting classes are nowhere near Miami's in terms of rankings. Yet look at where his teams usually finish - in the top 10. He also won the Rose Bowl a couple years back in the event there are those that question his resume.

Agreed. And, like you said, he doesn't get highly ranked classes. He finds good ones and develops them...

He's definitely one of the top coaches in college....

He's also 5-1 facing Top 5 teams!!!!! He has his team mentally tough, play great defense and run the ball and use play action passing. That was the recipe at Miami back in the day.
