If Mario had not left for Alabama, then he would most likely be our interim head coach right now. Not sure what this means, but it just occurred to me. With so much anti-Mario rhetoric on this board I wondered if anyone else had thought of this?

One of the most important aspects of being a successful head coach is the ability to spot and surround yourself with quality coaches.

The simple fact he's even CONSIDERING retaining one of the worst offensive coordinators in the country is basically one huge SPOILER ALERT for what his coaching tenure here would look like.
