I notice Mario has been keeping a serious demeanor in all these recent interviews the past few weeks. He lets the hosts like Pat McAfee and these dudes ki ki and chortle and make little jokes, and briskly answers their questions without smiling or laughing. He’s been in the college coaching world for a long time and knows how fickle these media folks are: on your nuts and praising you one minute, then calling for you to get fired the next.

The only time I’ve seen him truly look relaxed and crack jokes is when he’s being interviewed by someone he knows and trusts i.e. Michael Irvin etc

He was not bs with pat. Lol did you peep that fist bump he gave McAfee. That ish made me rub my knuckles.

I told my boy as soon as I Heard Aaron Glenn speak that his Jets had a corch. Some guys it’s easy to see, just give them a mic and they will say some bs that doesn’t make sense. Or you will be able to see if they are a used car salesman.

Golden had his pillars
Diaz had his act out and bring beers to a camp
Shannon had his take player jersey names off bs
Coker’s clap bs and not a leader

I mean the list goes on, give me someone professional that knows wtf they are doing and demands respect who recruits love. That can hire a staff to do the X and os and be a good identifier of up and coming staffers

And the guys I mentioned above will lose locker rooms quickly. And the media won’t report it really especially if it’s super early in their tenure. Those locker rooms don’t stand a chance

What did Aaron Glenn do/say? Serious question, I don't doubt your read on him, just surprises me with him coming from the Lions and Dan Campbells culture.

Idk I just see interviews than player tweets (because my boy sends me them cause he’s a die hard). I put two and two together and said he’s cooked. IMO they don’t stand a chance and my boy already telling me after week one he needs to be fired.

Gotcha, his celebration dance last week when the Jets block a FG to take the lead with two minutes left was something, he was enjoying himself, but there was way too much time on the clock to be dancing like that as the head coach. And wouldn't you know it, Baker led the Bucs right back down the field to win the game and hand the Jets another L.

Seeing him dancing on the sideline after that blocked FG return only for his defense to give up thr game winning drive after was hilarious. That was a Manny Diaz waterslide moment.
