No **** way that would happen. Mario is a guy who at least brings a resume and past experience to the table. As long as things are trending up and the team is getting better throughout the season instead of worse, I believe he would be given at least 2 seasons by us after the total disaster of the past 15 years.

Right - and shortly thereafter was 3-9....and was fired. You can't regress like that in 1 year and expect it to be considered a success. It needs to be maintained. He wouldn't have been fired otherwise.

It was his first job and was probably a good learning experience about what went wrong.
