Their DTs are definitely enormous at 320 pounds each - Banks and Jackson.“…it’s going to be a muddy, bloody battle”
Mario talking about the trenches.
Says UF is enormous up front on both sides of the line and pretty prototypical for their conference
OL is dog****Their DTs are definitely enormous at 320 pounds each - Banks and Jackson.
At OL they do have to project a lot of their production:
LT - coming off major injury first game
LG - played some as true freshman
C - played half a season
RG - moving from RT was horrendous there
RT - projecting from SDSU to UF Game 1
I tend to agree. And the more they have to keep Hayden Hansen in as a second TE to help block all night that’s one less WR to worry about downfield. I’m not sure Arlis is going to be able to run block these DEs and LBs we have so having to go twin TE is a nightmare for them.OL is dog****
Guidry knows that Mertz is just quick game QB. He's going to try and confuse Mertz post snap, which will make him hold onto the ball a little longer than he wants too which will help give the DL time to get through any chip blocks or double teams. Then you add the option of a delayed blitz, or a stunt between Mesidor/Baron. Guidry is gonna have them on their heels all game long.I tend to agree.
