Since Mario's apparently not gonna show. Here's Manny to fill in for him. From the Monday after the FIU loss:

“Quite simply, we did not respect the opposition. When we play, we’re pretty dang good. When we don’t play, we’re pretty awful. And we were awful on Saturday. Fortunately, we have another opportunity to get back out there.

It is imperative for our guys to come together and find a way, as much as possible, to put last Saturday behind us. There is a culture that has been embedded here in some way, shape or form, despite who the coach has been, for a while… That to me is what we’re trying to battle against.

You’ve heard me say some of the buzzwords in terms of what we’re trying to accomplish. Some of those things, to be very honest, are coming from the lessons of this season. In life, when the same thing keeps presenting to you, there’s a lesson you have to learn from it. That, to me, is how I look at our year.

It is about building a culture of sustained excellence, and I can’t sit here today and act like we’re any closer to that than we were nine months ago. But in terms of establishing and laying the groundwork and foundation of that, those things are going on right now.

We choose. We choose when we need to and when we don’t need to. That was enough on Saturday to get beat. We have a blind spot when there’s an expectation to win, and we have to help create an edge so it doesn’t ever look like that again.’’

Pretty blunt actually about what he thought was going on with the team, and kind of eerie how it fits so perfectly with what happened saturday vs the level of effort vs A&M. Of course Manny didn't mention getting rid of his OC. But he did.

Remember when Al Golden stole 5* Tracy Howard from UF? He was tabbed to be a top draft pick coming out of high school but under performed at UM and ended up a late round draft or not getting drafted at all.

Same Tracy Howard that jumped a WR screen for a Pick 6, and was cursed out by D'Ono for not executing his assignment?

I"m so completely burned out with every **** coach repeating the words, "not up to Miami Standards."

EVERYONE! Since Butch left! "We didn't play up to Miami standards!" What in the Wide, Wide, World of Sports are they talking about? For the last twenty years - the Miami standards - suck.

Get some dogs that love to hit, run, catch, and hit some more. If they're five stars - great!

But we've had some five stars I wouldn't give a bucket of wet **** for.

You don't need first rounders to win in the ACC. Also Saban is just an okay game day coach...he's a world class cheater with every advantage imaginable. Tons of other coaches do more with less.

U have to be lucky asf with an unbalanced *** roster to win a conference. We need a roster capable of going to that game a guaranteed. So like I said in the beginning of the year, if u trot out this roster u can lose to anyone.
