Mario on Joe Rose 9/26

See, i would have loved to hear THIS from him or perhaps he had other reasons but i think it is a legitimate concern.
But I think it was obvious. I don't think Mario or Gattis wants to totally kill TVD, even though it may already be too late. The kid can throw the ball - he hasn't been inaccurate in the past. WE don't know what went on in practice last week...

Mario seems to be a straight shooter.

F uck Wario Criscobawl. He attached himself to that POS Gayyis for OC and the ****** bro style offense. Only way out of this for the Columbus bro is to fire Gayyis and get an OC that has a modern playbook and makes adjustments for his players/opponents. At least Manny brought in Lashlee to fix the O
Yea that way we can score 46 points to win vs MTSU.

Yeah but you trying to win that game. Is killing TVD important in that instance? Waiting until 31-10 and almost halfway through the 3rd quarter is a bit much.

Self reflection can be a good thing here. But he needs to face this music. If he took a step back for self reevaluation (himself, coaching staff, scheme, players, etc), I applaud that because one of the issues with being a straight shooter, is that sometimes things you say, can come across to the listeners in the wrong way and your message can be misinterpreted. Maybe he just wanna make sure he means what he says, and more importantly, saying what he means. He gets no mulligans here. If he just didn’t show up cause he’s butthurt, then that’s disappointing. He’s not the leader I thought he was. When you are the leader, a leader of men…. you have to face the negative as well as the positive. You gotta face this music man. You can’t hide, no matter how much you wanted to crawl under the turf on Saturday. Hopefully there was some mixup that led to him missing the interview. Hate to think that about Mario.

he's gone on at later times before. why not wait and see if he does a later interview?
No problem.

Again, Joe Rose's segue was terrible and has led to all this.

"Good morning folks, due to an emerging scheduling conflict, HC Mario C had to reschedule this morning's regular segment amd we plan on having him on later this week....."

Ooooh we got a bro slurper who thinks the offense is doing just fine

Excuse me. I did not call you names. Be mature.

It is game 3. I hope for changes, and expect them, but I am not going to lose my mind over a new regime loss that we have seen elsewhere (Smart, Saban, etc.).

Could it be that Mario wants to address the tram after digesting what has just happened rather than them hear it on the radio? I don’t think Mario is the type to duck anything or anyone.
Then just say so. Let people know before the scheduled time and say I need to reschedule for whenever. Just like anyone else would if you were missing an appointment.

That isn't the point.

His Joe Rose slot is a regularly scheduled event. One his foundational pillars is accountability. To not show, and then not have at least the "my dog got attacked by a rabid parrot and is in surgery right now" excuse is a terrible look.
Agree. Mario teaches toughness and accountability, hypocritical if he bailed. Better be a good reason for the no-show, the PR is part of his job.

There is a difference between thinking the offense is fine and giving someone the opportunity to turn an awful roster with a dismal 20-year history into a productive offensive system.

This is you in 2019 talking about Enos. I don’t think your opinion really matters.
