Mario on Joe Rose 9/26

I tend to enjoy your posts, but I politely disagree with you on this one...when there is a recurring interview, to duck after such an embarrassment is pretty bad optics. Managing the media is part of his job description, even though it is probably the most thankless and miserable part of it.
I get where your point comes from. However, I am unsure as to what you want him to say. Regardless of what he will say, you will be ****ed anyways.

Yeeeeeaahhh..sorry this aint gonna fly. Unless he has a death in the family or he is ill..he needed to be on that airwave this morning to face this. I dont want to hear that he is out recruiting..thats the same BS excuses Golden and Manny use to use...Sorry but the check cleared for the 80M the university paid. This comes with the territory. Im not saying he purposely bailed to not have to answer questions..but after a loss like this..the fanbase DESERVES to hear from him.
If it’s true he just didn’t want to face the music…

If true, this is ****ed up. You can't be Captain Accountable and then not hold yourself to the same standard. That is the quickest way to turn people off.
I'm fairly certain the quickest way to turn people off is to lose to MTSU by double digits. The damage is done; there's no more secrets. Hopefully he's at practice working on fixing things.

What do you guys want him to say? He already did his post game press conference.

We all saw that ****. No need to tell us about it, Go fix it.

Some of you are pathetic weasels looking to beat him while he’s down. I question the level of Hurricane fandom and instead view some of you now as just people who like to complain about every single little flaw you see.

Who gives a flying f^ck about a Monday interview with Joe Rose lol.
By your theory he shouldn’t come on after a win because we all saw that **** there’s no reason to tell us more about that either.

He wants people to do their job and be accountable. Part of his job is a weekly radio show appearance after each game. Win or lose.

Is it the most important part of his job? No. but part of his job is also showing up, his accountability and how you “do everything” kind of deal.

It’s also just an extremely bad fan relations and media look to be seen ducking out after a loss whether he is or isn’t. UM sports info team is helping him blow this one.

also if you don’t think some opposing coach isn’t contacting recruits saying Mario was afraid to go on the radio it’s so bad I got some swampland to sell you

I understand why some of you are mad. You want him to yet again publicly address the shameful experience on Saturday because we ourselves are embarrassed and seek someone to take the blame. Trust me, he knows. Many of you fail to see it but remember he bleeds for this program.

What’s Mario going to do though? Throw the players under the bus? They’re part of the problem. Throw Gattis under the bus? He’s part of the problem. Throw Manny and the previous culture under the bus? That’s A problem.

So if he goes on there and just says generic crap like “it starts with me, we’re going to work even harder, No one else will out work us this year, etc.” What good will that do for any of you?

Basically, nothing he says will satisfy you, so just leave it.

The funny thing is it doesn't matter the big investment we all longed for was made. Win/lose/draw unless health issues arise this is our guy at least the next half decade.
Yeah but that doesn’t mean I have to show up to games or be happy about it. Time for the dude to walk the walk if he wants the fan buy in.

Your really missing it it’s not about what he might say it’s just holding yourself accountable and honoring a obligation simple as that.

What do you want to tell him that he already doesn’t know? Offense blows and belongs in 200 BC? Kids quit and are pointing fingers? We have a QB controversy?

The national media ripped us a new one and will continue to do so until next weekend. What good is it to ask the same questions?
To embarrass the f**k outta him and his staff. He gets 0 sympathy from the fans. $8M/year no one gives a flying sh*t about your feelings and arent going to coddle you.

You really think Mario is running from an interview with Joe or gives a flying **** what the fans think? Relax. If he didn’t show it’s because something more important came up. I am sure they will reschedule to calm your drama.

Honestly, he has nothing to say that I want to hear. I don't care how or why this happened. I don't care to hear his plans on how to resolve it. I don't want to see or hear from him at all until he can show me it was an anomaly.

No. I want him to either go or dont at all. Questions or answers provided is irrelevant. If you are going to go when its good, YOU HAVE TO go when things are bad. Its that simple. But maybe he had a good reason.
