theyre idiots. a bumbling moron like ed o can win a title. its the best job in the country imo. Kelly is their best hire since Nick. hes gonna clean up

Listen, if bruh can get ND CFP & Title Game certified w/ their lack of natural recruiting & academic requirements, I’m going to assume w/ his coaching pedigree in one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the nation, & w/ zero academic requirements, he’ll do well

hes gonna win multiple titles. book it. this LSU team isnt good and had more of a broken culture than we did given everything that happened w O

To be fair, he really didn’t fit the culture until he broke out that Louisiana accent. That thing was straight 🔥
 
I agree with Mario just in general about the media. **** THE MEDIA ITS CANCER DONT WATCH IT OR READ IT. INFOWARS FOR REAL NEWS!
 
Fans and media are toxic down here. Patience is a virtue, but no one had any after Shannon, Golden, Richt, and after Manny. Mario is under pressure to get this program right

Barry Jackson is an idiot. His sole purpose is to stir the pot and put out garbage to stoke the flames of the fan base. It's funny because it sure seems like multiple groups use him for their own purposes. Manny certainly did and it seems like someone in Hecht has done it this season.

The fact that this thread is 5 pages over an innocuous comment, a well deserved comment I might add, is nuts. Never mind the wild takes in here.....It seems like a number of you WANT the class to fall apart so you can gloat about it as further evidence to support your feelings about Mario & staff... Pathetic.
 
The media surrounding the team matters to recruiting no matter how much “fans” deny it.

If I’m a kid born into Miami sorryness and I’m researching them as a potential suitor and everywhere I look the team is getting trashed and my first year recruiter is getting ran out of town, Miami might lose some leverage with me.

Simple answer is Mario is challenged by this fam base in a toxic way that fsu and uf aren’t.

The quote says the media has “tried” to hurt recruiting. The thread title is misleading because it implies he is blaming the media for THIS SEASON!

Yup. I'm fully convinced that there is a pretty sizeable number of people on this board who want us to suck and things to be up in flames at all times. It might not even be fully conscious, I'm not sure, but notice how many more people around when things are bad vs when things are good.

I actually wonder if we had data on this. I could be way off, I am on a lot of **** in my life, but I'd be willing to bet a cheeseburger that traffic on this site is much higher in dark times than when things are looking good.

When we were 10-0 in 2017 vs the loss to MTSU, for example. I'd love to compare logins, website hits, numbers of posts, threads created, etc.

Sure seems to me like people enjoy piling onto this program and being miserable much more than other places.
