Mario needs to go

If he's stubborn and doesn't make changes his time will not end well here. I just hope he pulls a richt and at least doesn't make us pay his buyout.
At this point, being unstubborn won’t solve anything. He coaches the OL position and that’s arguably the worst position group on the team.

She’s just a ****** coach unfortunately.

His buyout at this point might be $40-$50 million, no?
It's enormous but even were it affordable, I don't think this program wants to fire a coach in his first year for a few reasons. It will send a message to any potential coach waiting that this gig is a highly volatile job with low retention. The risk is not worth any upside. Coming after the Manny firing debacle, this is not press that they want right now.

I think the man needs to learn from Dabo. Hire elite coordinators and let them do their thing. The only thing he should be involved in is recruiting.

I believe he will (and should) get at least three years, so there is no point in carrying on like this thread will undoubtedly do. That said, I've not seen a miami team look this poor since 1997. I did not overrate this team like most did before the season, but I most certainly expected them to beat middle Tennessee and Duke, and instead, they lost to both teams by multiple touchdowns....at home. I'm very disappointed but it's early. I also question the quality of talent we recruit. I feel like since Butch left, we have recruited kids that are pure athletes but lack football intelligence. The constant penalties, the constant mental mistakes, simple football fundamentals are lacking like wrapping up when tackling has been ongoing for 15+ years. There absolutely needs to be better player evaluation and development moving forward.
