Mario recruited well for them but in the 3-4 years he was there they scored 40+ like 7 times total out of 35+ games. This season alone Oregon has equalled that total. His offenses are turrible.

Oregon’s team is healthy and two deep full of elite upperclassmen talent.. Their coach is riding Mario’s wave. He would be terrible at Miami. Mario knows what it takes to do the same at Miami… nobody can overcome the injuries were dealing with especially when you’re already surrounded by JAGs and underclassmen.

Ive just about abandoned hope. It was one thing when Al Golden was getting smashed with 17 blue chip players on his roster in 2012. It’s another thing to be so poorly coached that we have a roster filled with blue chip players who can and do lose to middle school programs.

Obviously Mario doesn’t want this, but I suspect he thinks that his way will produce results, and he just needs a few YEARS to get there. The reality is that a good coordinator can get far more out of this roster than his crew, and waiting for the day when we have as much talent as Georgia and just overpower people is a fool’s wrrand
 
Mario sucks right now, no way around it. If we aren't in the ACCCG by year three, he should resign.
 
Mario hasn't 100% failed yet, he's just off to a historically bad start

I mean it's year 1 and it's trending in the wrong direction.

if he continues to recruit like this, and wakes up and makes serious staffing changes and philosophy changes in the offseason then he has a chance to turn it around but he's painting himself in a corner

The sad part is, Clemson is finally ripe for the taking, and we're nowhere near ready to do it. FSU will win the ACC, yet again, before we do it even once.

I will say this, last year's team could've easily been 3-9. If that had happened, I wonder if Mario is getting this much ****, or if people are saying he inherited a trash heap? I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle.

I left this debacle with 7 minutes to go before halftime and have no regrets. Finally, he should play Jacuuri the rest of the year. The kid has a ton of talent and just needs experience. JAKE needs to hit the portal as he is joke of a QB. Good night and HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Mario is an absolute disgrace and this is unbelievable that one can stand behind this Bozo.
