Let’s be real here — Mario Cristobal is the CEO of this program.

A lot of folks on this thread want to excuse Mario and point fingers at Dawson, Beck, or anyone else. But at the end of the day, Cristobal runs this team. He’s the one who:

  • Prepares the players
  • Approves the offensive and defensive game plans
  • Hires, supervises, and evaluates every coach on staff

So let’s not be naive — this all traces back to him. Everything about this team starts and ends with Mario Cristobal.

I feel obligated to complain. Mario is a game clock moron. Dawson plays way too conservative. Where was Rueben Bain! OL is not the best in the nation because run blocking is not good ALL year. Beck is not it.
 
This sh** is just silly. The offense didn't perform. Just nonsense that either coordinator needs Mario’s approval for their game plan. Mario isn't analyzing the Louisville offense or defense to override his coordinator's schemes.

If he is not analyzing what his coaches are thinking or doing during the week the guy is a moron! If you run a KFC, do you monitor your managers to ensure they don't order burgers!!

No one is saying to override anything during the game, the game has been approved by the boss so no reason to do it!

My guess is we are ACC losers and miss the playoffs. We had tremendous momentum but we needed to get better. That didn’t happed. Sad and disappointing.

Gameday coaching sucks that’s why we let every team back with a chance of to win. . We lack killer instinct. This is 100% on Mario but I give him credit for his recruiting. But that is DMoneys favorite season but not mine.

Quit accusing people of systemic racism. You can say he’s a ****** gameday coach and Miami suits don’t know how to hire coaches in any of the major sports since Butch left. But don’t accuse someone of systemic racism

Listen to yourself. You sound so irrational.

Sure, Mario is going listen in on whst the game plans are. He isn't going say, "NO, no. This is all wrong. This is what you should be calling,"

The coordinators put together their game plans and it's up to them to make the in-game adjustments.

We got outplayed. We played sloppy with interceptions and penalties.
 
In order to win with Mario the recruiting budget is going to have to increase substantially. Missing on kids like Dopson or any other bluechip can't happen because of money...1-2 of these losses in a weak conference every year without Butch Davis level talent...

I ain’t accusing ****.. they run UM and Mario’s is good buddies with all those folks that pay good money and sit on Miami’s board.. same dudes that took their private jet to go pick him up in Oregon

If they were Haitians I would be saying the same ****.. I’m calling it what it is.. I don’t give a dam who don’t like it

If we are going to be stuck with a Cuban, I rather have Manny. He is cheaper, as long as we have the same NIL. Mario adds nothing, the kids want money. I can recruit them with bags of cash

So it's a coincidence that he leads the country in losses as a 10 point favorite since arriving at Miami?

The same people will be the first to tout Mario's PAC championship. But I guess he's never really won one, since he didn’t throw any of the TDs, or call any of the plays.

Guess what we did tho? Hahahahahahahahaha. The same **** we been doing and they was all over all that ****. They knew our plays better than us. They had an innovative gameplan that exposed our tendencies and weakness.

We legit didnt even try to make anything new or difficult for them. Players are only as good as the gameplan employed by the coaches man.

Like I said. We got out coached man.
