For the Mario haters that wanted him fired after the 2 losses and any other time prior, how are you feeling about him now? Does that change dependent on the outcome of this next game? This is a genuine question. For reference, I'm the type that doesn't have full faith in him, but am satisfied if he can regularly hit 9-10 wins, because it means we're always in the picture with an opportunity like we're in right now. Just have to get into the playoffs and let the rest sort itself after that.

I didn’t want Mario hired. I will gladly eat crow based on the results this year.

As many have pointed out, he’ll never be the best game day coach. But similar to Butch Davis, he doesn’t have to be. Surround yourself with good coordinators and continue to recruit at a high level and we’ll be relevant every year.

I can’t imagine being much better with anyone else. No other coach in the country wants bring Miami back as bad as Mario does.

I think it finally clicked to just “let it rip” against the mid acc teams. That’s where the issue has been.

It took him 4 years to undo 2 decades of failure. We’re nationally relevant again and for the right reasons.

Anyone putting an asterisk, except for or but next to Mario’s coaching needs to STFU.
