Big decision in the game. After Mally scores, I am pretty sure the analytics would have said go for 2 to go up 7. Maybe I am wrong but I feel confident I am not. Instead Mario goes for 1. Now what if he goes for 2 and we miss it. That would mean Ole Miss only needed a FG to tie on last drive. That’s a huge moment in the game and Mario made the right call. Hats off. He has come along way with clutch decisions.

We were down 19-17. Going for 2 only puts us up 6. If it would have put us up 7 you 100% go for 2.

Well I guess my thinking is analytics say go up 6 in case they score an miss an extra point. Going up 5 is pointless with that much time on clocks. I might me over thinking it.
