This not a negative Mario post - the guy deserves all the flowers in the world and I wouldn't trade him for any coach out there!
However, his next step in maturation as a Saban disciple is team discipline; especially penalties. Saban's teams didn't commit a bunch of penalties.
He's talked about penalties a ton, but they keep happening as if there's nothing that can be done about it. But, we lost to a team thats done something about it. We don't lose any games this year, including the natty, if the team were more disciplined. We also need to improve tackling, but if Mario gets the team to average 4 penalties a game next year (or fewer) and especially cuts down on crucial penalties at the most inopportune times, we will be a SERIOUS natty contender in 26'.
