I’d like to see a lot more variation in our run game.

But if Mario and Mirabel are deadset on running A gap the majority, than why didn’t/don’t we move FM to one of the guard positions? Because in my unqualified opinion, running A gap the big impact players would be both guards and the center. It’s not G is not a likely final position in the NFL for FM. You could have Bell, FM, Brockermeyer, Anez and then move Okunlola to RT. You probably get a bigger push in the middle. And if you ever run outside zone or toss sweep, FM can pull. You know, the 1 out of 10 plays.

And if that is what we insist on doing, you can’t overpay for the best centers. Connor Lew should have got a much more massive bag coming out.

I know this isn’t what you’re getting at, but I’ve never really cared that our coordinators are field level mostly every year. Think being in the booth allows a much better POV of what’s going on

It's not exactly what I'm alluding to, no, but I'm curious what the feedback is from the booth. I agree, IDK how you see the extent of the field especially with the bunch set formations from a sideline.
