He REALLY wants the job. local radio and other people will push for him. Im not feeling it. he was 3-9 when he got fired.

he has experience under both Butch and Saban. Also with Schiano. I know he will recruit well but I'm just not feeling him.

Can anyone make me a legit case for him?

LOL this sounds like a sly attempt to commend him.

Just stop.

If they hire Cristobal I would be done with the program.

Recruiting is like tenth on the list of qualities we need in a HC.

If I never, EVER, hear the name Mario Crystobal again, I'll be perfectly satisfied.

All this program needs is another coaching experiment.

We need a head coach, not a head recruiter. No one can try to make a case for Cristobal that doesn't revolve around the words "South Florida recruiting ties."

Cristobal continues the cycle of hiring cheap, lazy, uninspiring coaches who hold this program back and sink us further into irrelevance. Cristobal, Kiffin, Strong, and Schiano are all "**** no" candidates.

My gawd, this. Guy cant even get his unit to perform at a high consistent level in bama. He is about to be ran out of there soon as it is. I can imagine him wanting a golden parachute back to miami.

If they hire him its a wrap

good. i thought i was the only one closed minded. Get ready, the locals are gonna push him. the same guys who call butch a liar.
I want Butch. if they hire mario, he wont win a title.

He left Miami on bad terms and higher ups feel he's tough to work to with fwiw

No thanks - a Cuban Al. What has he done in his career to show people he's a good fit? His osmosis leaning under Saban and Schiano? He's spurned this school twice already. No thanks.

Why do faqgits keep bringing this loser up? He's a Mexican Folden.

Retards still get wood over the idea of a guy with "Miami ties" who can "recruit." Forget coaching ability.

His Miami ties and recruiting got him fired in Miami. Our fans are notoriously stupid. They love sticking their hands on that hot frying pan repeatedly. They want a recruiter but they conveniently sidestep the fact that Folden was a renowned recruiter before he got here and got exposed as a **** HC.

For anyone who'd put Cristobal's name on a Top 5 list of possible coaching candidates, ask yourself this...

Would his name be mentioned as a possibility for any vacancy other than Miami? Of course not. His name is only ever linked to this potential vacancy. The only reason he's even discussed for this program is because "South Florida recruiting ties, bro." That's ridiculous.
