I think a lot of fans (understandably) were so frustrated with the last 20 years that the mistakes Mario made were magnified and overshadowed the work he was putting in to build something sustainable.

Lincoln Riley can win a team 9-10 games from the jump with his system. Mario said he was building for titles but that requires a longer term outlook. The admin trusted him to do it, gave him the time and resources required and he delivered.

Birds of a feather....I am one of those you speak of. admitted. I love Lane for the Chaos still and will thoroughly enjoy watching the ****show he brings OVER THERE.

I absolutley love the point Herby made last night about team dynamics and how we embody that vis a vis Mario. All props.

Would anyone be against a let's say 10 year extension for Mario or would it be better to give it at least one more year before offering.

You can set up a rolling extension. Add a year for every year we hit 10 wins.

That way, no F$U/UF dip****s can argue that the contract is expiring soon. And if we figure out that we need more years or money added, you can always rip it up and redo it at that time.
