My early opinion is bring Mario home.

Age. Check
Top Notch Savage Recruiter. Check
Toughness no BS. Check
South FLA native knows the SFla game. Check
Ex Player. Check
Dream job. Check
Saben Tree. Check
Runs the spread offense, Check
Head Coach Experience. Check

Leavitt coming along as DC clinches it for me.

He's not a good coach. He can recruit at a place like Bama or Oregon cause they have the resources. When will everyone learn that doesn't apply. We are not going to win with a recruiter at the helm. We need an innovative coach that recruits to his offense. We need a schematic advantage cause we no longer have a recruiting advantage.
 
I'd hire mario a second. But UM cant br cheap with Mario as HC. We have to spend for quality asst's if we hire mario. DABOs assts gets more than a mil each. We need that kind of commitment to winning if we go the mario route

You win at Miami ...you get recruits. We dont need a recruiter. We need a guy that can WIN and run a program. He aint that. He would just win recruiting titles and have us at 8-4 setting us up for 3-4 years of ddoing the same thing.

I would rather Leavitt as HC than Mario

I agree. Came to same conclusion. He delegates to DC and OC Leavitt coming extra plus. Flat out can coach D His South Florida Bulls D were aggressive and swarming. Cane style.
