Only if h brings Hebert with him..

Better yet ! He will bring Jim Leavitt. Fl recruits with his D. ! He's running a spread offense Killing it recruiting at Oregon. Saban coaching tree. Knows South Florida well. Aggressive young coach. The only question will be who will be the OC. Mario delegates to DC and OC at Oregon. We need a young aggressive coach with hunger

The only good thing about Cristobal is that he’ll provide a lot of talent for his successor to win with.

Unfortunately, that talent won’t be going better than 6-6 until Cristobal is fired.

He didn’t “run” from Golden and was truly torn as to whether he should stay here or go there. He took about 2 additional trips to Bama in less than 2 weeks as he was going through the process of making his decision.
And then he ran from golden

He's failed everywhere so why not give him another chance at a real program?
I'm trying to digest the highlighted remarks but I simply can't. I don't want to hire any alumnus again because it hasn't worked for us plus this town and this forum is vicious. Let Mario stay where he's at and let objectivity be his real judge. Our "real program" right now is a real mess awaiting the coach that can put together a cohesive squad on both sides of the ball. Maybe Venables or Babers would make CIS happy... who knows.

We already saw what happened when you hire a coach who was 27-34 in the MAC.

Cristobal was 27-46 in the Sun Belt. An even worse record in an even worse conference.

If you formally put in his contract that his teams will take a knee when the game is in hand, then maybe go after Mario. I might have a heart attack if the Canes lose a game like Oregon did against Stanford earlier this season. Absolutely no reason for them to lose that game aside from total mismanagement by Mario.

This is what I think too. My choice is Kiffin but Cristobal is my 2nd choice as I am not dumb enough to think we could get some huge name. Kiffin is by far the best choice but it has to be offensive mind like Kiffin or Cristobal can't be a defensive guy .
