I think Mario should be considered for the Head Coaching Vacancy at the "U" if he can bring Nick Saban with him as the coach in waiting...That shouldn't take to long as he had a stellar coaching record of 27 WINS against 47 LOSSES in South Florida...The way he dumped the Canes for Alabama shows where his heart is....NO CONSIDERATION should be given-and with all the openings around the country see how may schools beat his door down with an offer to leave Alabama..

He'd be a reach C hire for UCF. They can go grab aa good coordinator like Memphis and Houston and SMU did. Why the fck would they settle for Mr 27-47position coach?

UCF is probably talking to coaches like Venables or God save us Butch.
 
How about he bring Saban with him as HC for 5 years, then he can take over? Saban does owe the city of Miami, after all.
 
I dont want mario as head coach. But can you blame him for going to learn from saban instead of golden. Come on people.

saban took cristobal for the sole reason of recruiting south florida. if mario gets hired here (please, no) and coley gets canned, don't be surprised if dale! tweets start popping up from tuscaloosa.
 
There is not a scenario where Mario should come back to the U right now as a Head Coach. It's too much risk without nearly the likelihood of the reward some other alternatives offer.

Can't blame him for jumping at the Bama opportunity though. Learn under Golden or Saban, easy decision.
 
Corchiball is pure trash. He is only a hired gun recruiter at Bama. He is sucking it up as an OL coach there too.
Guy had some success for a year or two at a program that is at the lowest level of D1 football there is, and so were all of their opponents.
He would be a death sentence hire.

How anyone can look at his resume and think he should get ANY power 5 HC position, let alone at Miami is literally out of their minds.
