Mario called out the team

So now what? Mario isn’t going anywhere and we are only 7 games in anyway. We asked for a commitment to the program and money and resources were ponied up. We can say we should have hired Lane but he had warts as well although many knew ahead of time that he was the better hire as it pertained to the roster we currently had. Point is that, whether you think Mario is still the guy or you think we fvcked it up, he is our horse. If he fails, this program is doneso. So either stop watching or be very very patient.

The entire roster- upper and lower classmen - looks like they don't want to play for Cristobal and based on his lack of success in the portal compared to Kiffin and some others, it looks like players on other teams dont want to play for Cristobal either.

Well, that's too bad. The ***** culture needs to end. He coached at Bama and knows what it takes to compete at that level. Some of our guys want guys like Diaz that will be their friend and sing their praises.

Anyone not on board should hit the Portal now because they're just detrimental to the team.

This goes for fans as well. It's fine to criticize, I'm one of the biggest critics, but what the **** happened to " In Mario we Trust" ?

App vs Michigan wasn't as big of a upset. App was a really good football team with a great qb.

it's so funny that people are complaining about a coach preaching toughness when our team's entire identity for the past half decade or more has been literally never tackling and folding like a lawn chair at the first sight of adversity. criticize the guy for not being able to actually coax that out of the players, sure. but being mad about the press conference sound bites is silly, especially when we all know this team desperately does need a massive injection of physicality.

Are these players committing mutiny with their football careers and are throwing in the towel. Is that why the penalties and turnovers are excessive? Why is team speed and play execution pathetic? If it's Marios fault, why didn't it happen at Oregon... what the fvck is really going on?

I'm giving him at least 2 full seasons. All I can say is that this has been far worse than expected so far. I certainly didn't expect a miracle and us being 7-0 right now. However, 3-4 with the 3 wins being against sorry teams is unacceptable. This was the perfect schedule to take a young and hungry team get to a decent bowl game and bring an improved team into next season. A&M and UNC should be our only losses right now and neither of those teams are actually that good. A&M is severely overrated, just like us. I hope I am wrong, but Mario does not look like the man to get us back to consistent play and 10+ win seasons.

Not only does he NOT move the ball, dude has fumbled the the ball 5 times in the past year and a half. Not only is he a trash RB, he is a liability everytime he touches the ball or when he is asked to block.
