Mario sucks and sucks bad and his record shows it. He is nothing more than a average coach. Our fans slurp him up like he is the next Dabo or Saban. So many better choices out there.. If he wasn't a Miami guy nobody and I mean nobody would be giving him the burn he is getting and that's a fact
 
Butch was a horrible game day coach and everybody still wanted him back. Coker was probably the best we have had. Shannon was so bad it was hard to watch and the rest have been meh.

Like Butch, I actually like Mario. But the lengths taken to avoid or completely ignore the gigantic warts on their resumes makes me chuckle
 
If you would rather have Mario than Hugh Freeze you're clearly drunk or high AF. Freeze is a good recruiter and a really good game day coach. One of the only college coaches to beat Saban twice and he did it at Ole Miss.

It wasn't that hard for Coker to coach the guys he had. He was only a good game day coach because he was always the favorite. Sure, he didn't blow many games, but he also led a team out on the field uninspired to get their asses kicked for 3 quarters against Rutgers. I would go a little further to say that Coker didn't have our guys ready to play quite often.
 
So what I am getting is that every coach outside of Saban pretty much sucks because they have flaws.

If he hadn't called hookers from his university issued phone and embroiled Ole Miss in a sanctions scandal I'd consider Freeze.

Alas he did, so he's not the guy for us.

Exactly. If you lose a game, you're a corch and not good enough for middle of the road ACC team, Miami.

35 ranked teams have lost games this year. 35. Thirty-Five teams have had a cute little number next to their name, and lost. In the first month of the season. Maybe, and just hear me out, cause this is a wild-*** theory, but MAYBE it's really hard to win college football games.

If you follow the sport outside of rooting interest this ring true every year. Rankings shouldn’t come out until week 5 or 6 Imo.
