Mario Better Be Ready To Throw…

We better win.

By any measurement, 9-3 (5-3 in the garbage ACC) will be a colossal failure with this roster and schedule. Especially with how we started the year off.
After the 5-0 start, this season is already a failure. Another season of NOT making the conference title game with the most talented team in the conference. It's amazing how good we are at f'ing things up. I have never seen a coach in any sport do less with more like mario.

…the kitchen sink at Pitt next week, because the Narduzi is gonna go in dry and with sand added in if he doesn’t come correct.

No playing it safe or conservative. Have some nuts for once and play to seek and destroy all game long.
Come on, you know this is not gonna happen right? He was afraid to blow VT out

We are the more talented team, but our HC is still holding us back. It’ll be on the road, probably cold, their place will be a nuthouse, and Narduzi has probably been scheming this game up for a while in preparation to try to finish us off.

I can only hope that we play our best game this season, but with all of our key injuries in our secondary and at DT, our defense doesn’t look the same. I really do hope that I’m wrong. I will gladly eat crow.

Their place won't be a "nuthouse" for a Saturday noon kickoff Thanksgiving weekend. Please.

Hatred for Miami? Are you serious? I’ve been a diehard fan of my beloved Canes for longer than you’ve probably been alive. Why is it that you jabronies always call anyone that calls out our deficiencies a hater?

Also, I don’t bet money. Never have and never will. If you want to be an idiot with your finances, then be my guest. I work too hard for my money to throw it away to try to prove some point to an internet tough guy.

Now go kick rocks or go play in traffic. Which ever suits you best.

Who was 'afraid' to blow VT out?

Canes had eight possessions; scored on six of them. Beck threw for 320 yards an four touchdowns.

Only time Miami had to punt; direct result of a botched snap (that set up 2nd-and-27) and a hold on the ensuing drive (that set up 1st-and-20)—Canes were moving the ball on both drives before shooting themselves in the foot; Mario didn't get "conservative"—such a tired argument.

It’s not an easy win. But if you watched the ND game, you’d have seen that the WRs really struggled to get separation.

That is bad news when you’re facing a team that can pressure the QB like Miami can.

Pitt shouldn’t be able to keep up if we don’t turn the ball over.
Their QB was affected when GT turned up the pressure.
We're going to have a few pick opp's on Saturday.

Curious…

What if we “could” hang 40 on Pitt in the last game. They just walloped GT.
Would the committee give us credit? We need to unleash every scoring opportunity if possible.
Nope! Mario gonna run the ball 100 times because it’s cold. Players gonna huddle around the ball like a campfire and move it 3 yards at a time!

He’s a freshman. We should be pressuring him heavily and disguising plays/pressures pre-snap to keep him off balance
Thomas back is big.
The cold doesn't have as much of an effect on defenses, and ours is better.

Its not conservatism by play calls only. Its the desire to execute meat grinding drives that eat 7, 8, 9 mins of clock. Constantly snapping the ball with 1-2 seconds on the play clock. Its ridiculous and he hasn't been able to coach up a smart, disciplined team all season to have this mentality, Turnovers and penalties completely derail this strategy. The HC doesn't appear to be too bright that he hasn't gotten out of this mind set for the entire season after catastrophic results twice to teams they are just flat better than. The QB was on fire yesterday, VT is absolutely abysmal. They are basically a 0 threat in the throw game and the offense only had 27pts on the board with 20 seconds left. Those numbers are directly affected by the HC mentality.

So if we run more plays, we will stop committing penalties and turnovers?

Mario, and Dawson for that matter, seemed to have learned their lesson and opened up the playbook. Absolutely need to throw the kitchen sink at Pitt next Saturday.

I agree with you.

But if we somehow sneak in and win the ACCCG or win 2 playoff games, we can at least have some positive momentum to end the season instead of spending the entire off-season mad at how the season ended.

Making it in the playoff.....and winning a game or 2 would not be a failure of a season, imo. I would gladly accept that

NDs dbs hold and grab all game long and never get flagged. They are ******* frauds. I want a rematch to put them back in their ******* place!
