People forget that Mario was friends with Al Golden. I know most of the fellow Canes don't like AG, but Dabo was an arrogant a_sehold after that ugly win that got our coach fired. He went on several radio shows for days trashing our program, city, everything. Mario was working at Alabama so he was focused on his job at the time, but I have to think he saw how Dabo behaved and did not appreciate someone shttg on his friend, alma-mater and hometown. There are people down there who may have a beef with our city and some of its culture, but do not appreciate others piling on, especially from self-proclaimed Christians.
