Marcus Freeman post game speech

I came away thinking we should have won by 14+ but we gifted them some stuff and flukey things like the scramble drill TD pass and he's telling his team they left plays on the field and could have won the game

Am I just a homer? Felt like total domination by Miami that the score didn't show. The 4 straight 3 and outs, probably never happens again all year, but probably made the game as close as it was on top of the fluke stuff.

This isn't something like if we see them in December/January I'd be worried about them... to me it's more like if we see them again we probably blow the doors off assuming we clean up our week 1 blunders.

I think the counter to most of that is we had a miracle fluke catch that usually doesn't happen and was huge in our win. You could toss in the circus, kicked ball interception and fall back on just hold onto the football on the fumble. There's certainly a few plays argument to be made, but even in close games, a few plays is typically the difference.

We seemed solid and the play calling was ultra conservative, but I don't feel we dominated the game. The assumption is we could've, but in reality we didn't. Every metric besides TOP was close.

I don't care, we got the win, and that's that.

I felt the same way, Miamisgouldve won by 2 maybe 3 possessions. We also didn’t capitalize on a lot, and I felt we left lots plays on the field

Our deficiencies are addressable and the chemistry between Beck and the receivers should improve dramatically. Especially with the relative inexperience + Trader and Lofton being injured throughout fall camp. I wont even mention the refs

Definitely things for ND to clean up as well and their QB should get better with more games but one thing you cant correct in season, being physically outmatched at both lines of scrimmage.

I hope we see them again in the playoffs, the results wont change.

Not only was he *****ing to the refs begging for BS calls all game, but there was an obvious concerted effort by the ND players to play like scumbags and take cheap shots and constantly put their hands on and under our guys' face masks trying to draw flags. That comes from the top, from a coach telling his players they can get away with things against Miami.

**** that sleepy eyed OSU grad lamer HC and the horse he rode in on.

He’s a good coach-He’s turned around the culture there with the physicality they play with-

Expectations are through the roof in South Bend-He needs to win now ,if not patience wears thin with the ND faithful.

I know we have to root for them because of this stupid playoff system/overcoming SEC slurp fest but **** em.

We didn’t even have a perfect game by any standards…and we still beat the #6 team in the country, when we were peddle to metal we were FAR superior
