Nope...the police kill more whites than blacks...but "per capita", the police kill blacks at a higher rate. If Michael Brown,Eric Garner, & Oscar Grant were white, chances are they'd be alive today.

You said you don't do per capita. But you like to throw it out there, along with "much higher rates", to enhance your argument.

Why do black folks throw Michael Brown out there like he was some innocent bystander. Dude committed multiple felonies in a matter of minutes and you guys are still stuck in first gear with that piece of garbage. And you then wonder why white folks question the validity of black people and their ability to separate fact with fiction. Brown deserved what he got because his actions dictated his demise. Maybe you should go find the name of a young black child shot in a drive by and use them as your back drop.

This witness says Brown was running away, turned, and rushed the cop. The cop fired 5 times and he kept running making the onlooker think office missed. So Brown kept running toward him in spite of getting hit.

Can you now give me the per capita FACTS.

But why do blacks complain so much about cops killing blacks when more whites are killed by cops.

I don't do per capita, why?...because no demographic is 100% criminals.
Do it per capita of inmates/criminals, and I'd guess the numbers would be closer.

And I hate to answer your question with a question...but why do whites complain about blacks complaining about police brutality, when blacks are more likely to be killed by the police than whites? I mean, according to you, it's not the white communities that are "such a huge war zone, in many respects".

Per Capita is the rate of whatever statistic per a population or entity, it does not pre-suppose that whatever is being measured is committed or present in 100%. Just want to clear that up because Per Capita statistical analysis is actually one of the most valuable and common methods of analysis.

And as for your second point, no doubt the police need to be reigned in and supervised to a greater extent, but there is undoubtedly an issue of violence in certain communities, not only african-american ones. For example, white people living in the Appalachia region are generally as likely on a per capita basis to commit violent crime as african-americans living in a community such as the south side of Chicago. Widespread violence in communities is generally a problem of poverty rather than any other anecdotal factors people like to throw in.

Poverty is rarely the cause of violence. It's correlated but not causative. There are many poor communities where violence is not the norm.

Appapachian violence is cultural as well. Black Rednecks and White Liberals addresses the history between ghetto culture and the influence of ******* Scottish culture.

The incompetence runs rampant here. Its comical to a point...I can see you guys literally taking notes as you watch and rewind CNN. This "18 yr old kid" was 18, a **** adult...on top of that he was freaking 6'5 289 lbs!!! And he was charging the police officer. You can sit there and regurgitate CNN's "facts" that this was some poor innocent small child if you like...but pull that **** out in your own home to influence your kids...don't bring that weak bull**** into a real argument though. It holds no water.

First generation asian communities.

You can't compare crime rates of rich to poor because there are many cultural factors that result in wealth including education, divorce rates, out of wedlock births, single family household.

If you compare the black convert to itself from the 40's to now, you will see that the poverty rate was lower, the marriage rate was higher, the out of wedlock birth rate was lower (similar to whites), and the crime rate was much lower.

Over the past 70 years the crime rate has gone up while the poverty rate has gone down (unless you believe blacks were wealthier during Jim crow era then they are now).

What has changed is the culture during that time period.

Oh i didnt realize, are they told in training to just start pumping people full of lead if they happen to be bigger than them ? I dont care if it the kid was fckin 7 feet tall, i dont care if he was 18 or 30, he didnt need to be shot 6 times, period.
