marcus clarke interception

If we are recruiting Curtis as a CB, Marcus Clarke is the best advertisement in Curtis’s recruitment. Clark was the #106 ranked recruit the the State of Florida, and Curtis is definitely ranked much higher. If Clarke plays more, keeps playing solid and gets another INT this season, I am afraid that Ivey and Blades (if Blades returns) will have to give up some of their reps

There are plenty of reps to go around.

The offense will get even better. More leads. The front seven is getting better. Together we will see many more passes.

We need the young guys to continue developing AND Ivey and Blades.

Ivey has played well and carved a nice niche as a physical corner. Blades is too competitive and pedigreed to not bounce back strong.

No need to write off the vets because of the upside of Couch and the young corners. We still need them.

Clarke led the state of Florida with Td receptions his jr year with 25 I believe. It might have been 25 total because he also had 4 pick sixes at db as well playing sparingly. Kid has got sick hands. I get that Kelly Jennings vibe from him.
Yep he's giving me Kelly Jennings to. Who also played wr. They are sort of small gangly but play the ball like an offensive player in the air

was the best from one of our cbs in years ... we've gotten alot of tip balls, underthrows, etc ... but clark's int was from a guy that's played offense and has ball skills ... need more guys like that
Malik Curtis?

i agree, not crowning him, but can anybody tell us a more athletic interception from out dbs in the past 3-5 years
I need to see this clip because I missed the play, but the Jaquan Johnson 1 hander was pretty sweet.

quan's was nice ... he's a safety ... i'm referring specifically to our corners ... especially the last 3 years or so ... we seem to lack the ball skills with in our corners

I don't want to give the trolls the honor of having me reply to them but I'll explain why it's more than just that it was an INT on an overthrown pass. The reason it's impressive is the body control and ball skills. There is that old saying that CBs are WRs that cant catch. That was WR like ball skills. The ball was sailing way over Clarke's head and and his momentum was in the opposite direction, but he plucked it out of the air. Those are the kind of ball skills that can change games against elite teams because the elite QBs don't normally throw easy INTs.
