different vibe, bandy undercut the route and housed it ... this catch took more ball skills, don't think ivey or blades would have caught it

Marcus Clarke needs to play a lot more. Clarke not only has ball skills, but he has size and he showed last night that he can tackle. Clarke was a track guy in HS and also might be the fastest DB on the Canes roster. The Canes don’t have many DBs like him on the roster. As a matter of fact, there aren’t many guys with this talent on ACC rosters period. Staff is doing a good job of developing Clarke

not to overblown the play but man the way he tracked it, and caught it so naturally I 100% agree with you. Last DB I’ve seen make a pick like that was Phillip Buchanan

i agree, not crowning him, but can anybody tell us a more athletic interception from out dbs in the past 3-5 years

May not have been for a score or impactful on the outcome of the game but his interception was more athletic than Bandy's.

If we are recruiting Curtis as a CB, Marcus Clarke is the best advertisement in Curtis’s recruitment. Clark was the #106 ranked recruit the the State of Florida, and Curtis is definitely ranked much higher. If Clarke plays more, keeps playing solid and gets another INT this season, I am afraid that Ivey and Blades (if Blades returns) will have to give up some of their reps

Clarke led the state of Florida with Td receptions his jr year with 25 I believe. It might have been 25 total because he also had 4 pick sixes at db as well playing sparingly. Kid has got sick hands. I get that Kelly Jennings vibe from him.

So this is the guy along with Couch that were backing up Ivey and Blades. Man i have seen more pure corner play from these two guys in limited action this season than Blades and Ivey in there careers.
