Marc Trestman

I go away for a few hours due to work and come back to a Marc Treatman thread, lol.

If you want to be spooked, trust me just ask anyone that followed it, it was once a real possibility that Trestman was considered a reasonable candidate for coach of the Miami Hurricanes. Just let that marinate.

Otherwise OP, great thread.

I will sign my soul over to the devil if Trestman becomes any part of this program as a coach.

If this is a troll thread, congrats, I’d give it a slightly above average grade.

If you actually believe that this is a real possibility I question your knowledge of the program and the current situation.
Na I know it'll never happen nor do I want that. Just messing with everyone

He’s actually supposed to be a pretty smart guy. His record as a head coach in the US is not great, don’t know about Canada, but it’s my understanding he’s well regarded up there but I haven’t googled it. I just know he has a reputation for being smart and I think @Liberty City El explained it best in terms of how he fits in.

You know I’m just sitting here thinking he was actually the head coach of the NFL Chicago Bears for a couple of years, I mean how did that happen? As smart a guy as he is, I never thought that his demeanor screamed to me “NFL coach“.

But no he doesn’t fit in with our plans. Not as any kind of offensive coach - unless it’s just strictly quarterback stuff not game plan stuff.

December 1, 2013. As head coach of the Chicago Bears, with 4:12 left in OT against the Vikings, Trestman sent Robbie Gould out to try a 47 yard FG. Only problem with that decision was that it was 2ND DOWN!!! Pinche baboso decided to try a long FG on 2ND DOWN!!! Gould missed and the Vikings eventually won.

I was calling for Trestmen in late Coker years. Saw him just dismantle way overtalented defenses, one play at a time. (Watch that NCSU win over Bowden on a Thursday night)

He was embarrassingly too sharp for the Dolphin and Bears fraud management.

He's weird, didn't relish recruiting, didn't act like he really cared about coaching at all.

Far, far better than Fester, Radio, Folded, Dicht and Cantiflas
