All coach or play for the Toronto Argonauts, who won the title tonight amidst a snowstorm.
Congrats to those Canes!!!!

EDIT: Also, Mike Archer, who played for UM during the 1970s and is coaching the LBs on this
team.

Good for Steve. I wasn’t aware he had left IMG. Not to play the ‘hire the former great player’ bit, but I wonder what his future goals are?

Mike Archer coached at UM, too. I think he was DB coach in '83. Later head coach at LSU.

All time UM great George Mira, Sr. was Argonaut QB in the '60's, and was player-coach for a while as well.

Lots of guys jump from CFL to NCAA ranks, he's a QB coach and he's done some nice stuff with Trestman with the back up QB

I think it is not a bad option for young aspiring coaches.
You get to learn about the passing game regardless of what side of the ball you're on and you are working on a small
coaching staff so you get more responsibilities.

Yes, lot of coaches get their starts here at a high level up here and then move south. Sometimes it's vice versa, June Jones is coaching in Hamilton now.

The stadium where the game was played last night, is only 15 minutes walk east of my home. I could not went there due to the recovery from my back surgery. :(
